Professional Background

Mr. Schrey tried a wide variety of cases including business contract, real estate, computer performance, personal injury, fraudulent transactions, product liability, professional negligence, and complex insurance disputes in federal and state courts.  He also handled several appeals of such disputes.  He has litigated hundreds of cases in California and other states over 38 years in practice representing a wide variety of individual clients including homeowners and executives as well as institutional clients such as banks, insurers, financial service firms, computer manufacturers, government entities, real estate developers, public utilities, automobile manufacturers, hospitals, universities, maritime firms, and corporate trustees.  Many of these cases were mediated, arbitrated or otherwise resolved by settlement where Mr. Schrey was lead counsel.

Mr. Schrey was admitted to practice in California in 1974 and to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and all the federal district courts of California.  He has been admitted pro hac vice in numerous courts around the United States.
